The Nevada County Public Health Department achieves its mission through an array of programs including communicable disease control, chronic disease prevention, emergency preparedness, community health education, clinical services and healthcare management.

WIC is a program to help pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and young children eat well, stay health and be active.

The portal for health care providers allows you to report comminicable disease to the Nevada County Public Health Department.
We provide low-cost TB testing to the community.

A full array of public health services are available to the Truckee community, including family planning and teen clinic services.
